Dive into Your Soul: The Profound Message of Dreaming About the Ocean

Have you dreamt about the ocean before and were confused about what message the universe was trying to send you? This fascinating topic and discussion is in my new book, "The Book of African Dreams." In this chapter, I explore the mesmerizing symbolism of dreaming about the ocean, and how the divine guides may be trying to guide us to the depths of our souls to heal real-life wounds.

Life can be tough; there's no denying it. We all have our share of struggles and emotional scars that we carry with us, sometimes unknowingly. In recent times, I've encountered so many of us with deep-rooted pain from past traumas - abuse, rape, violence, and molestation. These are incidents from our childhood that we've buried so deep that we can't even recall them consciously. But guess what? Our subconscious remembers. Our ancestors remember.

Dreaming about the ocean, can be likened to a cosmic GPS guiding us towards the healing we desperately need. It's a powerful sign from our ancestors, angels, or cosmic guides that we must dive into the depths of our being and confront the hidden pain that festers within.

You might wonder, "Why would the the guides communicate through dreams?" Dreams are a gateway to the spiritual realm. They allow us to access knowledge and wisdom beyond our waking comprehension. It's like a message in a bottle, washed ashore by the vast ocean of the subconscious, waiting for us to find it.

Why would the guides want us to explore our traumas? The answer is simple, yet profound. By facing our past pain head-on, we can release the emotional burdens we've been carrying for far too long. I've encountered people who have unexplained physical manifestations such as unstoppable bleeding, seizures, hallucinations, or mysterious genital illnesses after burying the pain of abuse deep in their minds. This is the body's way of shouting, "Hey, there's something deep inside that needs healing!" Some of the signs may not be physical, but mystical, and we may be led into believing that we are chosen to be mystical healers. And yet the calling is for us to go on a journey of healing, because something is broken in us.

The journey of healing is not easy. But trust me, it's worth every step. Our ancestors and cosmic guides are like gentle lighthouses, illuminating our path towards self-discovery and self-love. They want us to reclaim our power, embrace our scars, and transform them into symbols of strength and resilience.

So, how do we embark on this soul-diving expedition? Start by paying attention to your dreams. Keep a dream journal by your bedside, and jot down any recurring ocean-themed dreams or symbols you encounter. Explore the emotions they evoke, and don't shy away from the discomfort they might bring.

Next, seek support. Healing is a journey best taken with companions. Talk to someone you trust - a friend, a therapist, or a spiritual guide. Sharing your feelings can lift the weight off your heart and bring you a sense of relief.

Additionally, meditation and mindfulness practices can help you connect with your inner self. Embrace the waves of your emotions, just like the ebb and flow of the ocean. Be patient with yourself, as healing takes time, like the slow carving of a canyon by a meandering river.

Remember, you're not alone in this quest for healing. Many others have walked this path before you, and countless more will follow. The ocean of collective wisdom is here to support you on your journey.

I want to leave you with a powerful affirmation: "I am brave, and I am worthy of healing." Embrace the messages from your dreams, for they hold the key to uncovering the truth within you.
